EARLY 2008 LIVE DATES ANNOUNCED
The Bride's first live shows of 2008 have been confirmed, beginning with a special free semi-acoustic show (with The Southern Tenant Folk Union) in Whitechapel on February 15th, and continuing with performances in Wales, the Borders and the south-east of England in February and March. More dates to be added shortly (see shows page).
NEW SONGS UPLOADED EXCLUSIVELY HERE!
Two new songs from Morning Bride's forthcoming six song, semi-acoustic, live mini-album are now available to listen to exclusively on this site. 'Greetings From Abney Park, N16' will be be a very limited release, available only via morningbride.co.uk, each one signed by the band and with an individually screen-printed cover.
The mini-album was recorded live in November 2007 and captures the band in semi-acoustic mode, with a mixture of new songs and reinterpretations of tracks from 'Lea Valley Delta Blues'. The songs available to listen to here are unmastered versions of two new songs, 'K.X.' and 'The Good Seed'.

NOVEMBER 'TOUR', & RECORDING UNDERWAY
After playing only selected dates in the UK over the last couple of months, all outside the capitol, Morning Bride return to their adopted home city's live scene in November, with a run of dates in the capital and beyond. All details are over on the 'performances' page.
The band have also begun work on new recordings this week. Having enjoyed and developed upon their semi-acoustic performances over the last few months, the band decided a recording in a similar vein was due, with a view to a mail order-only release in the near future. Initially intended to consist of reinterpretations of songs from 'Lea Valley Delta Blues', latest indications are that most of the new record will now feature new compositions.
NEW SINGLE ON 'THE WORD' CD - OUT 10.09.07
Morning Bride's new single 'Stepping Out In Front Of Cars' is on the covermount CD of the latest issue of THE WORD magazine (October edition), on sale from 10th September. The band are also featured on page two of the magazine.
The single will appear as a free download from this site from 24th September, with exclusive, free downloadable cover art.

January Italian shows
Morning Bride have just returned from the east coast of Italy, where they recieved an wonderful welcome from Italian fans and, according to the band, they played "easily the most inspiring shows so far. The enthusiasm and fervour of our audiences made us rise to the occasion, and we're looking forward to returning in the summer".
The band travel Ireland in February for several dates with NoLand folk, but not before a London show with their Irish comrades on the weekend of 2nd/3rd Feb (tbc).
Lea Valley Delta Blues mixed, mastered and ready for release
Morning Bride spent the first weekend of January mixing and mastering their debut album, again with Ed Deegan in Bow, East London, and the record is now ready for release.
The band fly out to Italy this weekend to play several live shows on the east coast, before returning to London for their first UK dates of 2007 in early February.

Lea Valley Delta Blues release date confirmed
After completing the recording of Lea Valley Delta Blues in early December, Morning Bride and Letterbox Redcords are happy to confirm that this, their debut album, will be officially released on March 5th 2007.
Exclusive tracks from the album will be posted on this site early in the new year; news of download release dates, and the launch party, to follow.
'LEA VALLEY DELTA BLUES' DEBUT LP RECORDED
Morning Bride have just completed their debut album in Bow, east London, which will be released through Letterbox Records in early 2007.
The record will be mixed and mastered in time for the band's first continental adventure of next year, in Italy in mid-January; the release date is yet to be set, but is expected to be in early March. Look out for exclusive tasters, available only on this site, in the coming weeks.
